Inkarnasi Allah sebagai Mahkota Sejati Ciptaan dalam Teologi Maximus the Confessor

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep inkarnasi Kristus sebagai mahkota sejati ciptaan dengan membangun argumentasinya didasarkan pada pengajaran Maximus tentang dyothelitism. Metode yang dipakai dalam artikel ini melalui studi literatur atau pustaka dengan menjelaskan pokok-pokok pemikiran teologi Maximus tentang relasi dua kehendak Yesus Kristus dalam beberapa karya tulisannya. Dyothelitism berbicara mengenai kesatuan kehendak Ilahi dan manusiawi secara harmonis di dalam diri Yesus Kristus. Kehendak manusiawi-Nya ditundukkan kepada kehendak Ilahi menjadikan inkarnasi Yesus Kristus ke dalam ciptaan sebagai mahkota sejati ciptaan. Ia contoh bagi ciptaan lainnya bagaimana seharusnya berelasi dan berpusat kepada Allah. Yesus Kristus menjadi perantara relasi kembali antara Allah dan ciptaan. Keselamatan dinyatakan melalui karya inkarnasi tersebut.
