General Author Guidelines

  1. The Manuscript should be written in Indonesian or English and have never been published or is not in the process of submission for publication to other media and does not contain elements of plagiarism.
  2. The Manuscript may take the form of research, case studies, or literary studies.
  3. The author should register as an author.
  4. The Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines and Template. The writing template can be downloaded here.

 

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Structure of the manuscripts

  1. Title. The title of the article is concise and informative with a maximum of 15 words, font 14, spaced 1 and placed in the middle.
  2. Author’s names and institutions. The author's names should be accompanied by the author's institutions, and email addresses, without any academic titles and job title.
  3. Abstract. The abstract is written in a concise and essential manner which includes the objectives, methods, and research results. Described in one paragraph and written in two languages (Indonesian and English); Abstract length ranges from 150-250 words. Avoid citations and use of uncommon abbreviations. The typeface uses Times New Roman 10pt, with a space of 1. The keywords contain the main terms in the article and are in the form of single words or combinations of words.
  4. Keywords. keywords contain 3-6 words separated by semicolons and written alphabetically.
  5. Introduction. The introductory section at least contains the background of the problem, the problem studied, the purpose of the article, various previous studies/study related to the topic of the article discussion, the theory/concept used, research methods, and a thesis statement. It is not recommended for the discussion section or the whole article to write a sub-chapter "Literature Review", or "Literature Review", or others that are too long in theory and definition. If it is necessary to write or relate it to a concept/theory, it should be written directly in the article/discussion section.
  6. Discussion. This section contains several discussion sub-chapters in accordance with the study conducted by the author and contains answers to research problems, interprets and integrates research findings with concepts/theories, and writes down the authors' findings. It is not recommended for the discussion section or the whole article to write a sub-chapter "Literature Review", or "Literature Review", or others that are too long in theory and definition. If it is necessary to write or relate it to a concept/theory, it should be written directly in the article/discussion section. The author can present pictures, tables, or graphs as needed to support the analysis of the discussion. In addition, avoid mentioning the position of the figure/table such as "figure below" or "table as follows", but it can be replaced by mentioning the number of the figure/table for example "see figure 1" or "see table 1 that ...".
  7. Conclusions. This chapter contains the results/answers from the subject of the study discussed in the article and written in one paragraph in the form of an essay, not in numerical form or in a copy of the abstract/part of the text, and it is not allowed to use quotations.
  8. References. In writing the citation and library system using the format of the Turabian 8 th edition (full note). The bibliography should appear at the end of the article and include only the literature actually cited in the manuscript. The literature is arranged alphabetically, chronologically, and uses 1 space and 6 pt space after paragraph. For citations in text that are more than four lines long, they must be placed on stand-alone text by increasing the right and left margins of 1 cm, typed with 1 space and 12 font size. The bibliography must use at least 15 sources and consist of 80% primary sources (journal articles, proceedings, dissertations, theses, books) published within the last 10 years and 20% older sources (published more than 10 years ago).
